41 + 4 + 6 + 1

Last weekend was busy for the Lord.  Our teens went to Prescott to participate in a teen all day outreach with other teens from other churches - 41 souls for the Kingdom!  Our Friday night street preaching, Saturday morning outreach and Saturday afternoon music park outreach - 11 more souls for the Kingdom.  The Book of Acts evangelism is alive and well in 2010!

Hail Tale

This looks like a little snowbank, huh.  This was an accumulation of pea sized hail.

This is by our door - after the big stuff came.

Sno cone anyone?????

This is the parking lot by our apartment - we have a garden level - the water is all the way to the top of the curbs - probably 6" and 12" in the middle of the driveway.  A lady went through it on a bicycle - probably praying that she didn't have any issues.

Cool splashes, huh.

Poem

POEM

Illegal Immigrants

I cross river, poor and broke,

Take bus, see employment folk.

Nice man treat me good in there,

Say I need go see Welfare.

Welfare say, 'You come no more,

We send cash right to your door.'

Welfare checks, they make you wealthy,

Medicaid it keep you healthy!

By and by, Got plenty money,

Thanks to you, TAXPAYER dummy.

Write to friends in motherland,

Tell them 'come, fast as you can'

They come in buses and Ford trucks,

I buy big house with welfare bucks.

They come here, we live together,

More welfare checks, it gets better!

Fourteen families, they moving in,

But neighbor's patience wearing thin.

Finally, white guy moves away,

I buy his house, and then I say,

'Find more aliens for house to rent.'

In my yard I put a tent.

Send for family they just trash,

But they, too, draw welfare cash!

Everything is very good,

Soon we own whole neighborhood.

We have hobby it called breeding,

Welfare pay for baby feeding.

Kids need dentist? Wife need pills?

We get free! We got no bills!

TAXPAYER crazy! He pay all year,

To keep welfare running here.

We think America darn good place!

Too darn good for white man race.

If they no like us, they can go,

Got lots of room in Mexico .

Satan's Meeting

SATAN'S MEETING:

(Read even if you're busy)

Satan called a worldwide convention of demons. In his opening address he said,

"We can't keep Christians from going to church."

"We can't keep them from reading their Bibles and knowing the truth."

"We can't even keep them from forming an intimate relationship with their Savior"

"Once they gain that connection with Jesus, our power over them is broken."

"So let them go to their churches; let them have their covered dish dinners, BUT steal their time, so they don't have time to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ."

"This is what I want you to do," said the devil: "Distract them from gaining hold of their Savior and maintaining that vital connection throughout their day!"

"How shall we do this?" his demons shouted.

"Keep them busy in the nonessentials of life and invent innumerable schemes to occupy their minds," he answered.

"Tempt them to spend, spend, spend, and borrow, borrow, borrow."

"Persuade the wives to go to work for long hours and the husbands to work 6-7 days each week, 10-12 hours a day, so they can afford their empty lifestyles."

"Keep them from spending time with their children."

"As their families fragment, soon, their homes will offer no escape from the pressures of work!"

"Over-stimulate their minds so that they cannot hear that still, small voice."

"Entice them to play the radio or cassette player whenever they drive."

"To keep the TV, VCR, CDs and their PCs going constantly in their home and see to it that

every store and restaurant in the world plays non-biblical music constantly."

"This will jam their minds and break that union with Christ."

"Fill the coffee tables with magazines and newspapers."

"Pound their minds with the news 24 hours a day."

“Invade their driving moments with billboards."

"Flood their mailboxes with junk mail, mail order catalogs, sweepstakes, and every kind of newsletter and promotional offering free products, services and false hopes."

"Keep skinny, beautiful models on the magazines and TV so their husbands will believe that outward beauty is what's important, and they'll become dissatisfied with their wives."

\

"Give them Santa Clause to distract them from teaching their children the real meaning of Christmas."

"Give them an Easter bunny so they won't talk about his resurrection and power over sin and death."

"Even in their recreation, let them be excessive."

"Have them return from their recreation exhausted."

"Keep them too busy to go out in nature and reflect on God's creation. Send them to

amusement parks, sporting events, plays, concerts, and movies instead. "Keep them busy, busy, busy!"

" And when they meet for spiritual Fellowship, involve them in gossip and small talk so that they leave with troubled consciences."

"Crowd their lives with so many good causes they have no time to seek power from Jesus."

"Soon they will be working in their own strength, sacrificing their health and family for the good of the cause." "It will work!" "It will work!"

It was quite a plan! The demons went eagerly to their assignments causing Christians everywhere to get busier and more rushed, going here and there; having little time for their God or their families; having no time to tell others about the power of Jesus to change lives.

I guess the question is, has the devil been successful in his schemes?

You be the judge!!!!!! Does "BUSY" mean: B-eing U-nder S-atan's Y -oke?

Outreaches this past weekend - 18

Friday night we were street preaching and as people were driving past, one of them shouted out that he was the devil, and kept going.  This is kind of the way the devil works - he is the original terrorist.  Another guy hands one of our guys $40 and tells him to take everyone out for something to eat!  Praise God!  (The money is being used to reach more souls, hallelujah).  Anyway, no one prayed the sinner's prayer then, however, we had an outreach for a revival which is going on this week.  Several teams came in to help us out, and 12 people got saved on the outreach, and 6 more at the Saturday night music scene!  Hallelujah!

Can you believe this picture was created with a typewriter????????

The Two Moons over My Hammie - not true (BUMMER!!!!!!!!)

Take it from a schoolteacher (in science mostly here in Blythe), this is false. Snopes.com agrees.

For several years, usually in late summer, this one floats around. About 7 years ago, it was actually technically almost true only if you looked at the moon and Mars thru a high-powered telescope (they were similar in size), but not to the naked eye on earth. Mars actually gets fairly close to us every 2-3 years (relatively speaking), but it is still hard to see without help (red planet in the NW night sky sometimes but very small). Nothing like Venus, which is very bright most evenings in the Western sky (looks like a distant airplane) and is the brightest thing in the sky on any night except the moon (if there is one).

Just fyi.

Pastor Brazell

Two Moons over My Hammie..... Seriously though

Two moons on 27th August 2010

27th Aug the Whole World is waiting for.............

Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky starting August. It will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. This will culminate on Aug. 27 when Mars comes within 34.65M miles off earth. Be sure to watch the sky on Aug. 27 12:30 am. It will look like the earth has 2 moons.

The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287.

HEZEKIAH Revelation

Pastor Rice provided copies of reading the bible through in a year chronologically, I just wanted to share a revelation I got this week that I had never seen before.

It was the reading for July 22 - I read the Amplified Bible.  2 Kings 20:1-11; Isaiah 38:1-8; 2 Chronicles 32:24-31; Isaiah 38:9-22; 2 Kings 20:12-19; Isaiah 39:1-8 (Amplified Bible)
Hezekiah was given a very short time live, told by Isaiah to put his house in order because he was going to die. He prayed to God to heal him, and God answered his prayer by telling him he would give him an additional 15 years of life. What a miracle! He asked for a sign that would show it was really from God, so God asks him if he wants God to put time ahead 10 steps on the sundial, or 10 steps back on the sundial. Hezekiah says it would be too easy to put it ahead 10 steps, so put it behind 10 steps, which God does - another miracle!
So, Hezekiah is healed. The king of Babylon sends some people to speak to Hezekiah regarding this healing and through the conversation, he shows them all the treasuries in his storehouses. Isaiah tells him he has done wrong and that he will lose everything as well as some of his children.
Hezekiah says (paraphrased) oh, yah, but I'll be ok though, huh.
   WHAT?????????
THANKS FOR GIVING ME 15 YEARS GOD.
SEE YA IN THE FUNNY PAPERS.
Let your judgments fulfill in future generations, as long as it's not in mine. How magnanimous can a person get.
Oh, that none of us would ever thumb our noses to a most perfect God whose mercy and grace are on our lives from beginning to end.
Let my prayers always be for God's will in my life, not self-will as was Hezekiah's prayer, that I would actually want deliverance from my sin instead of "getting what I want because I'm in a jam."

The weekend - a weekend of "soul harvest"

God is in the house, can you say "AMEN."  Prayer works, and people are responding to the Gospel.  We went out street preaching Friday night, and seven souls prayed for salvation!  Saturday morning we hit the streets at another church having a revival with Artie Aragon - 12 souls!  Saturday night our church took it to a park with music and refreshments.  12 more souls!  Hallelujah!

We will not survive living in a mountain.  We must live where God can use us, to outreach to others who have not heard.  This is Montezuma's Castle in AZ.  There was a tribe of indians that lived in the mountain and came down to farm and hunt.  These people did not disappear through a war, they left their dwelling with other tribes - they were assimilated into society.  We, as Christians must stand out, proclaiming the Gospel, the Good News of Jesus Christ, not be assimilated into a worldly society.

Scott's Beast! end of the line

well, the guy came today to take photos and describe the damages to send to the claims adjuster.  he was pretty bummed out because he said the vehicle would probably be totaled, and the body was in such good condition.  he was a 60s muscle car guy and really appreciated a nice looking older vehicle.  hopefully we'll get the top end value for this vehicle.  have a great day.

Ah, finally feeling better.  Last week I was "in the zone", you know, where life passes you by and you just watch it go.  I could only "rest", read and pray.  I didn't know how bad I really felt until I started getting better.  Must have been more than a week of that. ewwwwwwwww.

I got a lot done today, sent out the Alongside post card, several other business issues got cleared up also, hallelujah.

Now, the fun part of cleaning house tomorrow, another ewwwwwwww.

It is so wonderful to feel good again!  Thank you Jesus.

We had a pastor preaching yesterday's services from Australia.  He and his wife had come to attend the Prescott Bible Conference and Pastor Rens asked him to preach for us before they went home.  It was Holy Ghost.

July 4th Celebration, Prescott, AZ, Courthouse Plaza

Had the opportunity yesterday to go to Prescott to attend the "God and Country" evangelistic presentation.  It was a powerful, anointed presentation, about how the country was founded on prayer and evangelism.  All branches of service were honored, as well as all the wars and conflicts in which we have been involved.  At the end Pastor Mitchell held an altar call - 17 souls came forward for salvation, HALLELUJAH!

Prayers Answered

Scott's accident prayer answered:  Hallelujah!  Yesterday the father of the driver called us with insurance information!  And, Scott got the motorcycle endorsement put back on his license without having to take the test again!!!!!  (It's a hard test!)  The lady at DMV said the supervisor who approved it was leaving next Friday, and the new person coming in would not have approved it, so, praise God!  The police officer that told Scott he had an outstanding arrest warrant for the City of Phoenix had the wrong Scott Fuller, Praise God!

Mike's chest pains prayer request answered:  He is out of the hospital, no diagnosis of what is wrong with him, but they ruled out that he had a heart attack or stroke. Praise God!

It's the small, day-to-day decisions we make to do right is what keeps our faith "on the rock" hallelujah.  Just like those birds seeking a place to stay until their next flight, so do we.

We are heading up to Prescott today for the "God and Country" celebration in the courthouse square.  Thousands of people will see how God has used our country to defend the world through a military presence and hear a very clear gospel message and we are praying that many will respond to the invitation to receive Christ.  This is a presentation that is totally anointed by God as people have prayed for His inspiration to seek and save the lost.

Have a great day.

Pix of the truck - and a prayer request

Well, here it is.  The insurance representative working on it wrote:
I called the phone number for the other person’s insurance company and they could not locate a policy for him. I ran the VIN and only found the vehicle was impounded several years ago. It looks like the person who was driving the other car is uninsured. I would suggest that you move your car so you will not incur any further storage fees. If the other driver is in fact uninsured you can file an uninsured motorist bodily injury claim for Scott under your policy.

Please pray for revelation of the other driver's info.  God is in control, hallelujah!

Thank God for His protection!

What a day! Scott was on his way home.....

Someone decided that he needed his driver's side quarter panel, bumper, trim, door, realigned.  Thank God no one was injured where they needed to go to the hospital.  I am sure there will be all that ache/pain stuff. Keep him/them in prayer please.  There were 4 guys in the other vehicle, probably on their way to Glendale Community College, just around the corner.

The strategies of hell are just so stinking obvious.  Without God, we would just be out there wandering, lost in our sin, without hope.

24. Life isn't like a box of chocolates. It's more like a jar of jalapenos. What you do today, might burn your butt tomorrow.

More souls!

Yesterday at church, people kept coming in that I had never seen before.  The ushers kept adding chairs, and then at altar call when the call went out for raising hands for salvation, the pastor kept saying yes, yes, I see that hand, yes, yes.  Hallelujah!  When I looked, there must have been 10 or 12 people that had gone forward for salvation!  Pray for our church, that God would draw souls in to be added to the Kingdom.  We all need Jesus Christ.  That's for sure.  Have a great day.  Drivin for Jesus, Drivin for Jesus, Makin all the lights!

3 more souls!

Hallelujah! 3 more souls added to the Kingdom today. A lady that got saved from this morning's outreach, and two at tonight's music scene. Our band went to another Phoenix church and a rapper team came in from Tempe. God was in the house! The precious soul that got saved this morning came to tonight's music scene, and is coming to church tomorrow morning as well. One soul at a time, hallelujah!

My 16th birthday, born again

June 26, 1994, I became a new creation. My old life was buried and forgotten by the blood of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. I will never forget that day. Because of upheaval in my life, I found myself in a church called Full Gospel Tabernacle in Biloxi, Mississippi, watching the wildest church service in my entire life! I had been to many church services but had never seen such joy and worship. The pastor was preaching about the hope that comes through salvation, how God works in your life and all you have to do is ask Him into your heart. As I left that church service and drove home, God truly was in my heart. He knew I needed a miracle and He started working. God works in the smallest details imaginable. He helped me go through a period of life where, without divine guidance, I probably would have not survived. It saved my marriage, gave me a language freed from cursing, forgave me from all my sin, and gave me a hope and joy of a new life and revelation of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost!

Lunar Eclipse this morning

I heard on the news yesterday that there would be a lunar eclipse visible from AZ this morning at 4:30 a.m. So, I woke up, looked at the clock and it was 4:20 a.m., so I got up and went out to see what I could see. There it was! It kind of looked like a normal quarter moon except for the fuzzy edge. Other eclipses I have seen, the moon was more orange - this time it was bright. I am so amazed at God's wondrous creation and how it goes about in complete orchestration, no matter what else is happening.

Today's Bible Reading

Sat, Jun 26 Readings
HOSEA 2:14-8:14

Today's Chronological Bible reading. Woo Hoo, I have been keeping up with this - it is my heart's desire to read the Bible through in a year, and I have never read it chronologically. I have read it several times through on my own, cover to cover, and it usually takes me longer than a year to do this.

The Paper

I had the opportunity yesterday (last night) to type a paper for Debra. She is studying to become an ultrasound something. Different language in that paper for sure! By the time I was done, this is pretty much what I felt like! After Debra looked at it, I had missed a short paragraph that she dictated over the phone and I added it to her paper. She had found several other items that needed correction, so I did that, printed it off, and took it to her house. As I drove off, she called me again - Come back, come back - I didn't pay you! So, around the block I went! It's a good thing she lives only a couple miles away! Fun learning more words.

Outreach at Transitional Living Center

God is moving, by His Spirit. Hallelujah. We had an outreach tonight at this facility, and there were many that responded to the Gospel (12 or more!). The band, Proposition, played Christian music, and there were testimonies of 3 men that had gotten saved. Popcorn, Gatorade, and water were served as refreshments. We all need Jesus Christ and as we become believers, we are to share the Gospel with others. Thank God He wipes away our past sins and gives us a new hope, and works in our lives.

First entry -

I have been reading other people's blogs and thought it would be fun to journal a little too. I like to follow my friends on facebook to see what is going on in their lives. It is very interesting to see what makes us tick. Isn't it wonderful that we are not all the same! This is me - 1st grade. Awwwwwwwwww.
Don't ya just love those front teeth out in school pictures???
