Gideon and God's deliverance

Judges 7-9:21 (New Living Translation)

Gideon Defeats the Midianites
Gideon had 32,000 soldiers in his army. God said that was too many for Him to get the glory, so He had Gideon tell as many that were afraid or didn't want to fight to go home.  He was left with 10,000.  God said that was still too many and to have them go to the river to drink.  Those who drank by bowing their face into the river were sent home, leaving Gideon with 300!  God said he would deliver the Midianites into his hands with 300 and that everyone would know it was God who delivered them, and not Gideon's army.
