Genesis 4-5:32; 1 Chronicles 1:1-4; Genesis 6:1-22

Cain and Abel are born. Cain is a farmer, Abel has a flock of sheep. Cain offers some produce, Abel offers of his FIRST fruits.  Cain's offering is not accepted, Abel's is, and Cain kills Abel. 

God judges Cain and banishes him forever as a fugitive.  Cain's lineage.

Seth is born - at this time men begin to call on the name of the LORD.  Seth's lineage, among them, Methusaleh - 969 years!  Noah is born and God calls him to build the ark because he is going to destroy the wicked world.  He is sorry He created mankind because of the wickedness of hearts.
