Thoughts - Building the ark

It took Noah 120 years to build the ark. No one had ever seen rain so they saw no sense in him building something he said was going to float.





He preached to them the entire time he was building the ark. They chose to not listen because their hearts were wicked and full of sin

   When the ground started flooding and the ark started floating away, everyone wanted to get on board because they saw there was "no other way."  We all have our "no other way" moments when there is no other way but God's way.  Oh, that we would figure that out before we stepped over the edge.  Thank God, in His mercy and grace, He will put out that saving hand and retrieve us for yet another time, IF we cry out to Him, or someone is crying out to Him for us. 

Ever try to figure out why things happen?  Ha!  Good luck.  All I can say is, the providential Hand of God is on your life, He has a plan for you, you do have an appointed time, your soul is eternal, you do not die and then get planted in the ground - your body may be in the ground until the rapture happens but your soul is in eternity either in heaven or hell.

But God wants you here, to tell others about the need to repent, to turn away from your sin and to choose to serve God.  Jesus Christ died on the cross for you - if you were the only person on earth, He would have done that.  Know anyone else that loves you that much?
